Mission

Greenfield Farm Writers Residency will serve songwriters, playwrights, and screenwriters. Greenfield will host poets, novelists, and non-fiction writers. Greenfield Farm will be a place to write. Not just a place for writers. If you make words, Greenfield Farm is for you. We will serve Mississippi, broadly defined. If you were born in Mississippi, have family roots in Mississippi, or claim another home but are inspired by Mississippi places or people, we aim to welcome you. Greenfield Farm will make special effort to welcome expatriate Mississippians, pushed by Jim Crow and its legacies or pulled by economic opportunity.
